Entry In The Directory

Any business based and registered in the Creuse can have an entry in the Directory for free. Members can use the Submit New Entry link available from the header in the Directory section. Non members can email their details to the Site Admin and an entry will be created for them, although as a non member you will not be able to change the entry online.

Please pass on details of this free service to anyone that might want to submit an entry (or submit an entry yourself) and don't forget to mention Pont Noir when contacting a business in the Directory.

Rules on Business Entries

Members can submit an entry of any business providing they meet all the rules set out below:

• Do not include items for sale, stock lists or product promotional materials in the listing. Get a website for this stuff.
• You must supply valid information for all compulsory fields.
• Do not include prices, rates or availability.
• Listings for illegal services will not be accepted.
• Companies not based and registered in the Creuse will not be accepted.
• Do not refer to anyone else's business.
• No larger than about half a sheet of A4.
• Pont Noir reserves the right to edit or remove any entry at any time for any reason.
• If you check "You Own This Entry" then a link to this entry will be shown on your profile. Only check this if it is actually your business.
• The entry should be submitted in English

Trades Listing

If the business is to appear in the Trades section, you must include the SIRET number. This will be checked to ensure that it is valid (for the type of activities listed in the entry). This is to help combat the ever growing list of cowboys. Your listing will not be accepted in this category without a valid registration number.

Rating and Comments

All members can rate or comment on any business. If you have used a business listed in the Directory please take a few seconds to rate it or post a comment. This will help others when looking for services.

Rules on Comments

Members can comment on any business, however there are some rules for this too:

• Do not post libellous, defamatory or illegal comments. If you had a bad experience OK, say that, but keep your anger to yourself.
• Do not use comments to recommend another business.
• Comments can not be edited or deleted so check them over carefully before posting.
• Pont Noir reserves the right to edit or remove any comment at any time for any reason.

If these rules are broken your entry or comment may be removed or your account suspended. This is a free service so please use your common sense and do not abuse it.

If you believe that an entry or comment does not follow these rules then please contact the Site Admin who will review it as soon as possible.
